Kim Stringfellow’s Jackrabbit Homestead

Award winning multimedia artist Kim Stringfellow was offered the Westenberger prize by the Autry which included an exhibition in the museum. Her “Jackrabbit Homestead” exhibition looks at the past and present effects of offering cheap tracks of desert land in and around the Joshua Tree area.


BRIEF: 
Design an exhibition around the work of photographer and multi-media artist Kim Stringfellow

SOLUTION:
Use materials and floorplan evocative of the jackrabbit homesteads found in the Joshua Tree area.
